JT Stead serves as one of the pastors at Grace Reformed Baptist Church. Before being called to GRBC in September 2025, he served for six years as an Associate Pastor over students and helped develop a theological institute at Redeemer Church in Rockford, Illinois.

Originally from Southern California, JT earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from The Master’s University and his Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also pursuing certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

Over the years, JT has grown deeply convinced of Reformed Baptist theology and is committed to a confessional faith rooted in scripture and the historic Christian tradition. He is passionate about expository preaching, evangelism, and equipping believers with deep, practical theology that shapes everyday life, work, and the household. JT loves spending time outdoors, fishing, watching USC football, and enjoying life with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their two children, Eden and Knox.
